The PredicTools Points System is a beta feature used to track user engagement and interaction with the platform.
Points are awarded for completing defined activities and quests. They are not money, not transferable, and not connected to real market outcomes. Points exist solely within PredicTools as part of the beta experience.

🎯 Daily Point Cap (Without Referrals)
Without referrals, users can earn up to 19 points per day from daily activities and quests.
Breakdown:
Daily check-in: 10 points
Visit a market: 1 point
Favorite a market: 1 point
Open a position: 2 points
Close a position: 2 points
Complete all daily quests: 3 bonus points
Total daily cap (excluding referrals and trading profits): 19 points
This cap ensures consistent engagement without encouraging repetitive or excessive actions.
📈 Trading Profit Points
In addition to daily activity points, users may earn points based on profitable trading activity:
+1 point per $1 of trading profit
No daily limit on profit-based points
Important Clarification
Profit-based points:
are part of the beta engagement model
do not represent real value
do not affect real markets
do not imply or encourage risk-taking
This mechanic may be adjusted or removed during beta if it conflicts with platform goals.
🔁 Points Reset Rules
Daily Reset
Daily quests reset at midnight UTC
Daily-limited activities become available again after reset
Check-in Timing
The daily check-in requires 24 hours to pass since the previous check-in
Missing a day does not cause penalties
Lifetime Accumulation
Total points never reset
Points accumulate continuously over time
Beta resets may occur only in exceptional cases and will be communicated clearly
🔍 Transparency & Visibility
Users can view:
total accumulated points
points earned per activity
daily progress toward the point cap
All point rules are visible and fixed — there are no hidden multipliers or secret mechanics.
🚧 Design Boundaries
The points system is intentionally constrained:
No conversion to money
No compounding multipliers
No effect on market probabilities
No advantage in real trading
If any rule encourages unhealthy behavior, it will be revised or removed.
